Classic in look with proprietary design and facing technology that enhances the 'feel' of short-game play while ensuring the integrity of the club's grooves year after year, these wedges are sure to make an immediate impact with players of all levels.Using a new face material that's virtually indestructible, the Pelz series wedge is designed to maintain its edges for years. Jesse Ortiz has the feel covered as well. This new wedge uses a 3M bonding membrane to attach the face to the clubhead. The bond itself is stronger than a weld, but more importantly, as the resin in the membrane cures, it remains spongy; providing natural shock absorption and a soft feel.
The Bobby Jones - Pelz Wedge features a soft 302 Stainless Steel in the head, which serves to absorb shock. The area behind the face insert has been hollowed out, lowering the center of gravity, which leads to higher ball flight and softer landings and the steel shaft is made by the same company that thought up the Project X and Rifle shafts.
Available: 52-degree Gap Wedge (4-degree bounce), 56-degree Sand Wedge (10- or 14-degree bounce), 60-degree Lob Wedge (4- or 8-degree bounce) and 64-degree Extra-lofted X Wedge (4-degree bounce)
