The Harrison Shotmaker shaft insert stabilizes the tip section of the shaft to provide a boost in accuracy and distance. Weighing just 4 grams, the Shotmaker shaft insert conforms to USGA rules and is made with ultra-thin-ply graphite (UTP). The insert prevents excessive vibration and reduces deformation at the kickpoint of the shaft.The Harrison Shotmaker is not glued to the shaft and does not increase the stiffness of the shaft. Independent testing has shown that the Shotmaker also lowers spin rate without having a significant effect on trajectory, stiffness or torque.
Installation: Installation of the Shotmaker requires the Shotmaker telescoping insert tool and grip cutting tool. The Shotmaker shaft insert is designed to fit most .335 tip shafts and certain .350 tip shafts. It requires a smooth bore on the inside of the shaft to accommodate the insert.
