TaylorMade TP XFT Wedge
Taylor Made has applied interchangeable technology to the wedge market with the new TaylorMade TP Wedge with XFT (Exchangeable Face Technology). This wedge offers players the ability to easily replace a worn club face / grooves without having to replace the entire club. TaylorMade studies indicate that after about 1,000 shots the edge-radius of each groove becomes dull. The TaylorMade xFT is a cost-effective method for maintaining maximum backspin and control with fresh grooves on the same clubhead. The xFT face is held in place with two screws on the back of the clubhead that can be tightened with an R9 torque wrench. Justin Rose and Jason Day have both won PGA Tour events in 2010 using these wedges.- Four step fully CNC milled face provides perfectly flat face and perfectly formed grooves
